One of the main goals of education in the 2nd grade is to teach children to add and subtract within 100 fluently. The complex exercise book contains tasks of different types that will contribute to achieving this goal. In addition to computational skills, the ability to solve word problems and perform operations with quantities is also important, so the exercise book includes relevant topics. Some tasks are given in small blocks. This will allow the child to work independently with the exercise book and create conditions for self-assessment. For correctly solved tasks, the child can color a bonus figure - a nut, an apple, etc. After solving all blocks of one type, using bonuses, the child can 'feed' the squirrel or 'bake' a pie.
