The main approaches to the construction of mathematical models and the stages of mathematical modeling are presented. Mathematical models of flow structure in chemicals, heat and mass transfer, as well as kinetics of chemical reactions, are considered in detail. As an example, it is designed to build models of a chemical reactor. A probabilistic approach to mathematical modeling is presented, various regression equations are considered, as well as experiment planning methods.
Most theoretical issues are accompanied by a solution to specific examples using modern means.
It is intended for students of chemical and technological universities, students in the areas of training Chemical Technology, Energy and resource-saving processes in chemical technology, petrochemistry and biotechnology, modeling of chemical and technological processes.
