The widespread implementation of algebraic methods in theoretical physics is not news. Gauge fields and their interpretation in the language of stratified spaces, supersymmetric extensions of field theories, the emergence of Grand Unified Theories, string models, quantum loop gravity - all this has introduced into the arsenal of methods used by physicists previously exotic branches of algebraic topology, algebraic geometry, and even category theory. Beginners in physics who have received a standard university education face significant challenges, as abstract algebra is presented quite modestly. There is a need for a compact guide to modern algebra for this category of readers. Such a task cannot be solved in one reasonably sized book. Due to the scientific interests of the authors, who are focused on studying the geometric structure of superextensions of space-time, only one direction was chosen - algebraic methods for studying geometric constructions. At the same time, we tried to avoid a strict formal approach, as adopted in mathematical textbooks, that is, chains of "definition - theorem - proof," and focused on the meaning of the introduced definitions, simple examples, and the essence of basic theorems. For convenience in working with the book, it is equipped with a detailed index of definitions and an extensive index of used notations. To navigate the multitude of algebraic textbooks, a guide to the literature is attached, designed for beginners.
