Materials for the Dictionary of Metaphors and Comparisons of Russian Literature XIX-XX centuries. Issue 3. "Plants"

The book is the third issue of "materials to the dictionary of the metaphor and comparisons of Russian literature of the XIX-XX centuries." (The first issue of "materials ..." - "Birds" - was published in 2000, the second edition - "beasts, insects, fish, snakes" - in 2010) The basis of this dictionary is based on the principle of the semantic field, or the thesausuri principle of grouping the trails, in possibly a more complete amount of coverage of the figurative fields. In addition to the principle of semantic fields, the material in the dictionary is also the diachronic principle. Thus, the dictionary shows a system of figurative means of Russian literature in its connection with the poetic picture of the world and the evolution of this system. The third issue of the dictionary includes the metaphor and comparisons located in the ideographic order, in which various realities (man, soul, thought, word, time, light, fire, wind, etc) are compared with plants. The structure of each vocabulary article of the issue is determined by the structure of the semantic field "plants"
