Born in 1946 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow Automation and Telemechanics and Historical Faculty of Moscow State University. In 1977 he defended his dissertation on the history of public thought. Employee Institute of Scientific Information on Public Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He was engaged in translations from the Polish language, both fiction and scientific and humanitarian literature.
