The textbook presents the main mechanisms of the influence of various drugs of physiotherapy and massage on the patient’s body, the classification of physical exercises. Indications and contraindications for the use of physical exercises and massage were identified, as well as private methods of therapeutic exercises in a particular pathology, and methodological recommendations are given.
The mechanisms of the influence of physiotherapy facilities on the organs and systems are represented by schemes and tables. The section devoted to the massage substantiates its use for various diseases, traumatic injuries. The main types of massage are listed, the classification of its techniques is given. Indications and contraindications for the use of massage are determined. It is described about a combination of techniques of therapeutic, reflex-segmental and acupressure. Massage techniques for diseases of individual organs and systems are described.
