The book presents data on biologically active points and meridians. The doctrine of two opposite principles of Yin and Yang is the worldview basis of ancient Chinese medicine. Doctors of antiquity believed that the activity of organs depends on the internal energy, which circulates in the meridians. When a person is healthy, there is a harmonization between the meridians of Yin and Yang. With the development of the pathological process, this harmony is disturbed, an excess arises in some meridians, in others - a lack of energy of “chi”. Reflex exposure methods (acupuncture, cauterization, acupressure) are aimed at aligning the energy current in the meridians.
The methodological manual is given recommendations on how to sedate (reassure) the meridian and in what period its daily activity, as well as methods of exciting and soothing effects on points. In the treatment with the method of acupressure, knowledge is needed both about the progress of the meridian (for example, when conducting a linear massage), and about the location of points
