A new book about Marina Tsvetaeva (1892-1941) was in demand by a new time, different from the last decades of the twentieth century, when the triumph of her poetry gave rise to a huge flowery. In the course of research, new finds, publications, such depths and abysses were opened, into which it seemed dangerous to look. The previous biographers, mainly women, experienced a shock on other life turns of their heroine. This book was written by the poet. At the same time, admiration for the great gift of M. Tsvetaeva did not abolish the sober author’s view of everything that happened to her, and the special style of the narrative is associated with this. The famous father, early successes, then poverty, scrap hard work and, with all that, the relentless faith due to the poetic word, the fidelity of poetry is not hyperbolization, but a fact. The fate of Marina Tsvetaeva in today"s conditions, who do not demand a poet who kill the poet, can in itself hit the reader. Even in her youth, she exclaimed: "Two in the world of my enemy, / two twins, inextricable -naked: / hungry hunger - and satiety well!" What would she do these days? She, one might say, is an ardent anti -market: "Trees! I"m coming to you! Save up / from the rar of the market! .. "
