The book is an educational edition that presents constructive solutions of the main technical control systems of vehicles from a systems engineering perspective, the regularities of their functioning, and the features of their operation. The purpose of the manual is to summarize and systematize the issues of design, diagnostics, and maintenance of modern electronic and microprocessor control systems of vehicles, to provide definitions of basic concepts, and descriptions of some electronic systems of a car. The main components of automatic devices of automotive transport and the conditions of their functioning are considered. The specifics of constructing algorithms, optimal control of vehicles, and certain aspects of information transmission theory of control systems are discussed. In the subject area under consideration, specific examples aimed at developing skills in applying mathematical methods in managing technical systems are analyzed.
