The work revealed the role of self-organization in the development of production systems. Based on the concept of self-organization, the theoretical and methodological and methodological aspects of the integrated development of an industrial enterprise are considered. The focus is on the problems of managing organizational changes and the development of industrial enterprises in the production base. The concepts of the development of the enterprise from the standpoint of the theory of restructuring systems are considered. Approaches to optimization of production volumes and methods for ensuring the production flexibility of industrial enterprises are investigated. A investment mechanism for the development of production enterprises has been developed.
