The collection of articles by well-known philosophers in diachronic and synchronic aspects presents an interdisciplinary approach to the problem of the human being in contemporary domestic social and humanitarian science. The last century in human studies has become a time of development of interdisciplinary strategies in various fields of scientific knowledge. In Russian philosophy, research on the problems of human consciousness and activity has been the methodological basis for both discursive and empirical practices in many interdisciplinary projects about human beings.
The collection is dedicated to the centenary of the birth of the outstanding Russian philosopher Vladislav Zhanovich Kelle (1920-2010), who worked as the chief scientific researcher at the Institute of Man of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and later at the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, during the last one and a half decades of his life, and to the centenary of the creation of the Institute of Philosophy. It was prepared based on the materials of a 'round table' organized by the sector of methodology of interdisciplinary research on human beings, which took place on October 20-21, 2020.
It is intended for readers interested in theoretical problems of understanding the human being.
