The book is a detailed guide on the basic principles of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and its clinical use for the study of all parts of the body. The introductory chapter of the book presents a review on the basic principles of MRI, contrast substances, risk and side effects associated with this research method, as well as the most commonly observed artifacts. The remaining chapters of the book are devoted to often identified pathological changes in the study of the head, neck, chest, mammary glands in women, abdominal organs, pelvis, lymph nodes, musculoskeletal systems and blood vessels. The last chapter discusses MRI and magnetic resonance angiography of the whole body, as well as an MRI, performed using a high-floor tomograph with a magnetic field of 3 T.
The book has a practical orientation, is easily read and is a valuable source of knowledge for residents and researchers working in the field of radiation diagnostics. It is also an ideal manual for experienced radiologists who want to increase their level of preparation in MRI diagnostics
