The little girl Anbel from the city, in which there are only two colors: the color of snow and the color of the chimneys blackened from soot opens a small magic box with multi -colored yarn.
She knits a sweater for herself, and from the remains of the yarn she knits a sweater for her dog. And from the residues, another one is knitting for a neighbor, another sweater for all his classmates, for a teacher, for a mother, for a birdhouse, for cars, for houses ... But the yarn does not end and does not end!
The city becomes so colorful, warm and comfortable that the Duke himself wants to look at it. But when he arrives, it turns out he also wants to buy a magic box with yarn. He offers Anabel a lot of money, even more, but the girl does not agree to the deal. Then he steals a box. But, returning to his home, and settling in his favorite chair, the duke suddenly discovers that the box is completely empty! Having received what he deserved, the greedy duke throws her into the sea, and she sails ... back to Anabel, who continues to work on knitting a sweater for a tree.
