The magazine "Knowledge-Wir", founded in January 1926 as a “monthly popular-popular and adventure magazine for adolescents", has passed a difficult path of development. First of all, he "grew up", addressing to the audience, firstly, more and more mature, and secondly, more and wider. So, immediately after the war, having lost the "adventure" component, he became the "Scientific-Popular Journal of Working Youth". Closer to the beginning of the 60s in the journal, the share of humanitarian knowledge began to grow, interest in a person as a problem increased. Having survived the peak of their popularity in the 60-80s as a free-thinking magazine, mainly the humanitarian intelligentsia, "Knowledge-Wishe" today still thinks itself as a "bridge between science and society". He sees his main task with a conversation with thinking people and specialties about new trends in science and society, about the connections between different areas of science and thought, and most importantly - to identify the human meaning of all knowledge
