The sun and we
It is a star, but this word in our imagination is more likely to be bright points in the night sky. And it is more familiar to call the sun. At any time of the year, in any weather, it is the Sun, and that says it all.
We appeared because it is. We exist thanks to him. It plays a huge role in our lives, although we most often do not notice its influence - only external manifestations. When it shines brightly or hides for a long time behind the clouds, we remember him. But we can walk or ride all day, forgetting about him. Meanwhile, many phenomena in our lives happen according to his intervention. For the first time, our compatriot Alexander Chizhevsky spoke about this more than a hundred years ago. Without serious experimental data, he predicted different manifestations on Earth of what is the result of processes flowing in the sun. At first it seemed impossible. Much later, understanding came: Chizhevsky was much ahead of his time. Some of his predictions have already been confirmed, something else is waiting for further study, and something may remain a beautiful hypothesis. In any case, scientists are now clear - sunny and earth ties are of great importance for life on our planet, and we must study them. Studies in this area have been going on for not the first decade, however, many discoveries are still ahead. Scientists are trying to study the sun, and it lives its own life, letting us know about it. For example, at the end of last February, the northern lights went beyond the limits of high latitudes and it became visible to the inhabitants of the southern regions of Russia and other countries. So the effect of powerful outbreaks in the sun manifested in the upper layers of the earth"s atmosphere.
