The main contribution to the science of a prominent Russian historian, publicist, journalist, academician Konstantin Nikolayevich Bestuzhev-Ryumin (1827-1897) is considered the capital labor "Russian History". In it, he acts as a strict researcher, the correct principle of historical objectivity. Gathering and comparing the events of Russian history, K. N. Bestuzhev-Ryumin separates external facts from the history of household and cultural history, the scientist occupies a calm and impartial position in relation to historical events and, if possible, refrains from categorical conclusions.
