Midrash (explanations of our sages) is a story related to the sacred books, their heroes and plots, but Midrash talks about what is missing in these books. It is absent - but is restored to other places of the Torah, other texts and oral tradition. Using the whole amount of knowledge and the rules of interpretations of texts, our sages come to a new, deeper, often unexpected understanding of what, it would seem, has long been known and studied.
In the proposed series of books" Midrash tells the children, some midrash are given for each weekly chapter of the Torah. The first volume is dedicated to the book Bereshit. Young readers learn about the creation of the world and the history of the agreement between the Almighty and Abraham, the son of Abraham Yitzhak and his grandson Yaakov, about the twelve knees of Israel and their life in Egypt, about the indissoluration of the covenant between the Almighty and the sons of Israel
