The magazine opens the heading "Medievistics yesterday and today", dedicated to significant problems and important events in Russian historical science: this issue publishes reflections on the fate of the Romans after 476, as well as archival materials about the trip of E.A. Cosminsky to England in 1952-1956. The magazine continues the publication of the translation of the poem John Barbort "Bruce. The section "customs, property and money" presents research on the methods of transferring their property in England and on the forms of collecting and expenditure of common funds of corporations in Reims of the XV-XVIII centuries. There are also materials of memory of our colleagues, reviews and reviews.
