The journal Book Industry is a professional periodical, covering the main problems of the book industry, the development of book and reading, innovative services and technologies, the activities of publishers, bookings and libraries. Particular attention is given to the analytics of the book industry. The magazine carries out several annual analytical projects: “The Book Market of Russia. 2010-2020 ”,“ Cultural map of Russia. Literature. Reading ”,“ Monitoring of the Book Market of Moscow ”and others.
The Book Industry is doing a lot of work on the analytics and development of the infrastructure of the book and reading in the Russian Federation. The editor -in -chief of the publication, Svetlana Zorina, heads the “Committee on Support and Promoting Reading” by the Russian Book Union.
Over the past 10 years, the magazine has become a leading and authoritative sectoral publication, in demand and respected by specialists of the book industry.
The magazine initiates and holds numerous industry conferences, forums, round tables both on professional venues and on the Internet.
The Book Industry magazine is the organizer of the Vocational Excellence contest Examiner, which has been held since 2012 in partnership with the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, the Russian Book Union, the General Directorate of the Moscow International Book Exhibition-Firewalls .
The journal has been published since 2008, the editor -in -chief of the publication is Zorina Svetlana Yuryevna
