"Endless mirror" of reality and myths
two concepts determine the conscious existence of man - mythology and symbolism (in the broad sense of the word) Our perception of the world is an endless reflection of one in the other: reality in myths, and myths in reality. Already in distant antiquity, people began to ask the questions "Who are we?", "Where did we come from?", "Where will we go?". And, looking at the surrounding world, animals, plants, peering into the starry sky, they created their picture of the world - mythical worlds, in which everything was their place and explanation. Humanity developed, great empires arose and destroyed. The perception of the world has changed, the picture of the world has changed. Some myths remained in the distant past, covering the fragments of civilizations like dust. Others survived to our times, preserved in the memory of the peoples.
But each era gives rise to its mythology, which is often intertwined with the past, and it remains to live on.
Since ancient times, myths have been a certain reflection of reality. Looking at quite real objects - stars - people of antiquity inhabited the sky with a whole host of gods, heroes, anthropomorphic, mythical creatures. And then the myths already found a place in the lives of people, embodying, inter alia, in literary works. Which, in turn, contributed to the emergence of new myths, already at a different level.
Articles of the main theme - about the works of art that are specific to each other - created in unequal eras, in different countries, sometimes with diametrically opposite attitudes, but nevertheless symmetrically determined the development of universal culture.
