Viktor Sergeyevich Rozov is the famous Soviet writer and playwright, the author of more than 20 plays and cinema -bloodsuits, including the script of one of the best films about the Great Patriotic War - "Cranes are flying".
In July 1941, Viktor Rozov volunteered in the 8th division of the People’s militia of the Krasnopresnensky district of Moscow. This division fought with the Germans on the outskirts of Moscow, on the famous Borodino field. In his book V.S. Rozov talks about these battles, as well as other events of the war period. His memoirs are a true story about the volunteers -aggregates, hastily trained and poorly armed, who fell in incredibly difficult conditions at the front, as if diving into an ice font, according to Rozov. Many of them died, saving Moscow at the cost of their lives
