Memoirs of Major General I.K. Kiriyenko is an interesting historical document showing the contradictions that tear off the white movement and Russian military emigration. The release of this book caused a storm of indignation in the Russian diaspora, its author was branded as a liar, slanderer and traitor, and veterans of the Kornilov Regiment even issued a separate collection of the answer to Kiriyenko’s slander, published in this publication as an application.
In the book, much attention is paid to the formation of the Volunteer Army and the first battles with the Bolsheviks, the relations of white leaders and their roles in the February Revolution
