In the summer of 1942, twenty -two -year -old Francy Rabinek arrived, a concentration camp and a ghetto in forty miles north of her house in Prague. This was the beginning of her three-year trip from Terezin to the Czech family camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau, to the camp work camps in Hamburg and Bergen Belzen. After the British liberation in April 1945, she finally returned to Prague.
