This book includes articles written on the basis of reports that were presented at the Conference "" Revolution given to us in sensations ": anthropological aspects of social and cultural transformations" organized by the editors of the journal The New Literary Review and held in Moscow on March 27-29 on March on March 27-29 2008. Participants in the collection do not represent a general direction in science and carry out their studies in the framework of different disciplines - philosophy, history of culture, literary criticism, art history, political history, political science, etc. Nevertheless, their work, as it seems to us, can be considered from the point of view of some General methodological guidelines. Radical transformations united under the name of the revolution (political, scientific, aesthetic, sexual ..) are studied in this book as the interaction of subjects actively participating in these events that resist or passively accept new "rules of the game".
