After all, the New Year is the point of counting time and at different times among different peoples it was significantly different. And it was incredibly interesting to get acquainted with the New Year traditions of different parts of the globe.
To write about how the New Year is celebrated in space, under water and at different poles of the Earth, I and the artist of the project Alena Rondakova had a chance to chat with the real submariner - the captain of the second rank Andrei Vladimirovich Shatunov, astronaut Sergei Ryazan And the polar explorer Sergei Korobov, the head of the Bellingshausen station 66 RAE.
