The content of the book is an advanced course of macroeconomic theory, based on the idea of economic exchange, disclosed both on micro and on the macro level. Unlike traditional macroeconomics courses based on the idea of macroeconomic equilibrium and quasi-equilibrium, this book is permeated by a single methodological approach consisting in the systematic use of dynamic models of economic exchange. Modern dynamic models of macroeconomic systems, including exogenous and endogenous economic growth, models of economic crises and business cycles are considered.
