The textbook is designed to help students in conditions similar to industrial ones to solve practical issues of comprehensive mechanization of work in garden and park management when building a new park, caring for trees, shrubs, and ground cover in existing parks, during maintenance in large parks, and when combining garden and park machines with tractors of various traction classes. It provides a methodology for calculating the cutting force on the working body of the machine when interacting with the object of labor - soil, grass stems, shrub branches, as well as a methodology for calculating the resistance force of the object of labor when interacting with the working bodies of the machines. Issues of safety and labor protection during work on the training ground are considered. For university students studying in the field of "Landscape Architecture".
