The textbook covers the issues of using machines and mechanisms for comprehensive mechanization of work in forestry. Materials are provided on the production of work in harvesting forest products, work technologies in forest nurseries, forest restoration on clearcuts, and maintenance cuts. Methodologies for research and calculation of parameters of forestry machines are presented. The manual is intended for independent work of students in preparation for practical classes in the discipline "Machines and Equipment of Forestry" in the training direction "Technology of logging and wood processing industries."
