For almost 200 years, Russian translators (often - large writers and poets) appealed to tragedies of the great English playwright of William Shakespeare (1564-1616) Many translations made even in the nineteenth century, not at all and to this day, entering the "Golden Fund" of the Russian Translation School.
In a real collection, published to the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare"s birth, there are three translations of his tragedy "Macbeth" (1606) Their authors are S. Solovyov, M.Lozinsky, B. Pasternak.
