The next issue of "materials to the dictionary M.V. Lomonosov" is dedicated to the geological and mineralogical vocabulary in the writings M.V. Lomonosov. Materials give the reader the opportunity to obtain an idea of how Lomonosov described minerals and as under the influence of Latin and German languages, the terminological system of Russian mineralogy was formed. The bulk of the publication is a dictionary-directory, the subject of which is the description of the most frequency and interesting from the cultural and historical point of view of the names of precious stones, ores, metals, minerals and rocks. Each vocabulary article contains two interpretations of mineralogical items: in the XVIII century system and from the point of view of modern science.
