A valiant knight of an influential clan decides to put an end to the harsh warrior's routine and start a peaceful life. Working peacefully on a farm raising wild animals, the main character learns that there is a mysterious Dead Forest nearby. This forest was cursed, and now it is filled with terrifying and dangerous creatures. The only way to save it is to help a certain girl named Lydia, who once made a deal with the devil to save her father and her native village from the destruction by the count's troops. To calm the souls of the deceased in the forest, one must help Lydia retrieve her heart. But who is this girl and where can she be found? Solving riddles, the main character realizes that the most important thing in achieving any noble goal is to know how to give without expecting gratitude and to sacrifice oneself for others. The story is based on the popular computer game Lineage II.
