In accordance with the decree of Hitler dated February 26, 1935, Luftwaffe officially became the third native of the troops of the German Armed Forces. New Luftwaffe immediately encountered the problem of the uniform. His leaders wanted their uniforms to differ from the uniform of two other types of troops - ground forces and navy. For the basic, the gray-blue form of civil aviators was taken. It was supplemented by the newly created Luftwaffe emblem - a flying eagle, compressing the swastika in claws. This book presents everyday and parade uniforms, as well as epaulets, buckles, breastplates, stripes, butterms, emblems, military colors and other signs of the difference in Luftwaffe units
