The publication being presented to you continues the series "Progressive Music" and is dedicated to the creative path, as short as it is bright, of several British progressive rock bands. The highlights of this issue are CRESSiDA and FRUUPP. Despite existing for only twenty-one months from formation to breakup in the first case, and just over three years in the second, these extraordinary collectives left behind beautiful albums that have undoubtedly become classics of British progressive rock. Unfortunately, all the featured bands are "widely known in narrow circles," which is why the idea arose to try to outline their history on paper in order to introduce the work of the British to as many music lovers as possible. It is quite possible, and I hope for it, that even seasoned connoisseurs of the genre will find something interesting, especially since such a publication in Russian is being released for the first time.
