Alexey Mikhailovich Bashilov was born and grew up in Smolensk, rich in natural diversity in the upper Dnieper. He studied at the Dnieper school, graduated from the Moscow Agro Engineering Institute, graduate school, doctoral studies. The main creative activity is science and education. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Member of the Union of Writers of Russia. He writes about the nature and people of the Russian plain, which have retained the connection between the city and the village. Author of four books: "Rodnikiya channel", "life -giving source", "rush murmuring", "steep bends". The new book of A. M. Bashilov includes two cycles of poems - "Dawns of the Scarlets" and "Sea of Indigo" and an essay, united in the section "Bright Liki". They are devoted to the search for the highest sacred meanings in the poetic work of Russian national poets - N. M. Rubtsov and S. A. Yesenin.
