The book "Logical Sociology" by the patriarch of Russian sociology Alexander Alexandrovich Zinoviev (1922-2006) thoroughly presents the system he created, called logical sociology. The book is part of the complete collection of works released for the 100th anniversary of A. A. Zinoviev. The author characterizes logical sociology as the logical processing of the language people use when reasoning about social objects. The goal of this processing is to create a logical and methodological apparatus that enables the understanding and knowledge of social phenomena and processes, meeting the criteria of scientific validity. The book presents the outcome of applying this apparatus - a comprehensive theory of social development that describes and explains the social structure that emerged in the Soviet Union, the social structure of modern Western countries, as well as the essence of the evolutionary turning point in human history that occurred in the second half of the 20th century and its global consequences. The main consequence is that people have interfered with the mechanism of social evolution of humanity, acquiring the ability to influence this process in the interests of specific social groups and countries. Zinoviev's sociological concept is the result of his long years of contemplation, analysis of social reality, and understanding of humans in society. It took its final form in the last six years of his life - during his work at the Moscow Humanitarian University, where Alexander Alexandrovich taught at the Zinoviev School. Based on the materials of the course taught at the Moscow Humanitarian University, A. A. Zinoviev prepared and published (in two editions) his "Logical Sociology."
