Logical Research (1900-1901) Edmund Gusserly is the starting point of the phenomenological movement. The first volume of this work spared to clean logic is devoted to criticism of the prevailing at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. Directions in the theory of knowledge. The main disease of the philosophy of his time Gusserl calls psychologism - modern projects of the psychological substantiation of the logical and mathematical and philosophical knowledge. On the example of leading logical teachings of the second half of the XIX century. He proves that psychological and overall empirical substantiation of science misses the qualitative difference between empirical and ideal knowledge, ignores the special status of logical and mathematical laws, leads to relativism in the theory of knowledge. At the end of the first volume, Gusserl formulates a program of its own notebook - a new science of science aimed at studying the a priori conditions for the possibility of scientific knowledge. The criticism of the psychology of Husserl initiated a wide discussion in which most leading philosophers began the beginning of the XX century
