Dietrich Dörner is a professor and dean of the Faculty of General and Theoretical Psychology at the Institute of Theoretical Psychology at the University of Otto-Friedrich in Bamberg, Germany. In 1986, he received the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize from the German Research Foundation, which is the most prestigious award in Germany for research.
