This book is an overview of the life and teachings of the contemporary Indian spiritual Teacher Sathya Sai Baba, who came to our earth with a Divine Mission - to unite humanity into one family based on the principles of truth, righteousness, love, peace, and non-violence. Originally written in the Kannada language by a person who knew Sathya Sai Baba closely for many decades, the book serves as a wonderful introduction to the world of divine mysteries, miracles, and spiritual revelations that the human soul so eagerly desires, oppressed by the struggle for survival and torn between 'good' and 'evil' in search of happiness and freedom. Presented in simple, clear language, the book touches on these eternal themes and, most importantly, answers the eternal question of the meaning of life. A special part of this book is the commentary prepared specifically for the Russian edition, which thoroughly explains numerous terms inherent to Indian culture but not well understood or unknown to Russian-speaking readers.
