The publication of life of new martyrs and confessors of Russian is based on the following principles. All lives are placed in books by memory of memory. The lives of those new martyrs who do not have a certain Memorial Day are placed in the January book, since their memory is accomplished on the day of the celebration of the Cathedral of New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian - January 25 (February 7), if this day coincides with the Sunday day, or on the next Sunday after this day. The basis for the study of the confessive feat of the new martyrs was the archive and investigative affairs, written for the most part illiterate, so as not to replicate illiteracy, some expressions from investigative cases are brought into line with the norms of the literary language and the rules of modern grammar, but at the same time their meaning is preserved. The typos contained in the documents are fixed, undercredwed words, as well as generally accepted abbreviations are disclosed. The lives of new martyrs are compiled after a comprehensive study of materials stored in the state archives of Russia.
