The publication of the lives of Novomartvikov and Russian confessors is based on the following principles. All lives are placed in books by memory. The lives of those new martyrs who do not have a certain day of memory are placed in the January book, since their memory is performed on the day of the celebration of the Cathedral of Novomartvikov and the Russian confessors - January 25 (February 7), if this day coincides with the Sunday afternoon, or next Sunday after of this day. The basis for the study of the confessional fell of new martyrs was an archival-investigative case, written for the most part illiterately not to replicate illiteracy, some expressions from investigative cases are aligned with the norms of the literary language and the rules of modern grammar, but at the same time their meaning was preserved everywhere. The typos contained in the documents are corrected, unaccepting words, as well as generally accepted reductions are disclosed. Life of the newcomers is compiled after a comprehensive study of materials stored in the state archives of Russia.
