It can be said that the book "Bear Rye" was written and drawn in the zoo. In 1933-34, Vera Chaplin, in the future, children"s writer-animal, headed by a playground of the Moscow Zoo, and Dmitry Gorlov, an animal artist, constantly came to the platform and made the sketches of animals from nature.
The book is written specifically for kids - a simple, affordable language. The bear cub was brought to the zoo and settled it on the playground of the young. He made friends with different animals - goat, wolf, fox, but most of all with a dog caress. Like all the kids, the rod loved to stale, play and with pleasure I drank milk. With the onset of cold weather, the platform closed, and briefly separated. Lasky has a new owner. The rod suffered, losing a girlfriend. Fortunately, in the spring, the owner of the caress came along with her in the zoo, friends saw each other - and it became clear that they could not be separated. Lask remained in the zoo.
Beautiful realistic drawings Dmitry Gorlov are good for viewing.
