There were times of rise, defeats, decline, but our country always found the strength and opportunities to overcome dangerous periods and continue its development. Remarkable people were found, in responsible times for the country they were filled with feelings of love for the Motherland, they led the fight for the well-being of their people, many perished in this struggle. In troubled times for the country, Russian writers also spoke out, they felt, understood the time, its needs, and in their works awakened the best feelings of the Russian people, sowed hope, called for the fight for freedom, independence. What characteristic qualities of the Russian person can be noted? Kindness, justice, mutual assistance, compassion, love for others, faith in a better future.
