The manual presents a system of literary reading lessons for the 2nd grade, developed in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard, the Concept of Spiritual and Moral Development and Education of the Personality of a Citizen of Russia, the planned outcomes of primary general education, and the requirements of the Exemplary Educational Program, oriented towards working with the textbook by E.E. Kats (Moscow: AST: Astrel, 2012), included in the educational complex 'Planet of Knowledge'. Within the framework of the lesson, the planned subject and personal outcomes are outlined, metasubject competencies are characterized, pedagogical goals are formulated, traditional and innovative forms of activities are proposed to contribute to the development of cognitive activity, communicative skills, offering to perform regulatory and evaluative functions, finding ways to solve educational and practical tasks. Intended for teachers and heads of primary school departments, recommended for students of pedagogical universities. 2nd edition, corrected.
