The textbook complies with the requirements of the general education standard for schools with the Russian language learning. The material is located on problem-thematic and chronological principles. Artworks are compared, written at different times for close topics. Much attention is paid to the relationship of literature and arts (painting, music, etc) Allocated works for independent reading. Questions and tasks are differentiated depending on the degree of difficulty, in the most difficult cases there are advice on their implementation.
