The purpose of the textbook is to develop the skills of analyzing the artistic text, the definition of the topic, ideas, the problems of the work, the characteristics of the main characters. The main theoretical literary and methodological idea of this textbook is awareness of the specifics of the content of the artistic work in the unity of its shaped, plot and composite aspects. Questions and tasks for artistic and educational texts are aimed at the formation of readership (and wider - communicative) competence of schoolchildren, on the development of their creative abilities.
