Literature, 6th grade

The textbook prepared within the program "Literature. Grades 5-11" (by B.A. Lanin, L.Yu. Ustinova) achieves the following goals of literary education and student development: expands literary erudition by introducing students to works of various genres by both domestic and foreign authors that are accessible and understandable to teenagers, lays the foundation for basic reading skills (perception, analysis, interpretation, evaluation) based on the developing reading competence, leads to an understanding of the origins and nature of literature as a phenomenon of spiritual culture and a way of understanding reality, life, and humanity, contributes to the intellectual, moral, and worldview development of the individual, fosters a humanistic and tolerant consciousness, the ability to understand oneself and others, supports the desire to express oneself through words, teaches communication on the Internet as a modern means of solving cognitive, reading, communicative, and creative tasks.
