The works presented in the book will help develop children's literary taste and broaden their reading horizons. The system of exercises, questions, and tasks related to the texts will allow for the formation of certain reader competencies defined by the educational standards, as well as the development of students' creative inclinations. The main focus is on the skill of reading, but systematic work on literary education and students' universal learning actions, the formation of their worldview and love for reading, continues. The textbook implements a system of tasks aimed at organizing extracurricular activities for students (creative tasks, working with books, projects). This book will help teachers and parents turn children's reading into a useful and engaging activity at school and at home.
