The textbook on literary reading for the 1st grade, designed to accompany the 'School of Russia' textbook, is intended for assessing subject outcomes in the 'Literary Reading' course at school and at home. All tasks are diagnostic in nature, meaning they are not for testing or control purposes, as there is no formal assessment in the 1st grade. For each section of the textbook, two levels of difficulty are offered: basic and above basic (advanced). The choice of level is made by the teacher or parent. The tasks are to be completed independently by the students.
