The basics of the design of liquid missile engines (LSR) are presented. The basic provisions of the theory, calculation methods and description of the components and assemblies of motor plants with LSR are given. The processes of expansion of gases in the nozzles, mixture of formation and heat transfer, as well as methods for profiling sopel, calculation of nozzles, determination of the shape and volume of the combustion chamber are considered. Systems for feeding with turbine units and displacing supply systems with gas, powder and liquid pressure batteries are given. Methods and examples of calculations of structural elements and the LRP in general are set out.
The third edition of the textbook (1st - 1968, 2nd - 2005) is supplemented by the parameters of domestic and foreign railings of the late XX century.
corresponds to the courses of lectures read at the MSTU. N.E. Bauman.
For students and undergraduates of higher technical educational institutions. It can also be useful to engineers and graduate students specializing in rocket technology
