A wealthy businessman's daughter, Zhenya, has been ill for five years and unable to walk due to a back injury. Her father wants to give her a gift and orders a huge doll from a very famous master dollmaker who works for the local theater and private collectors. The doll is extraordinarily beautiful and lifelike. Zhenya immediately falls in love with it and names it Lilith.
